Refund Policy

Last updated: January 1, 2025

Protike's refund policy reflects the nature of high-level strategic consulting: once work has commenced, the intellectual capital deployed cannot be reclaimed. Our policy is designed to be fair to both parties.

1. Application Stage

Submitting an application through the Protike website is entirely free. No payment is collected at the application stage. There is nothing to refund for a submitted application.

2. 72-Hour Cancellation Window

Following initial payment for a consulting engagement, clients have a 72-hour window to request a full refund. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the contact email on file within 72 hours of the payment timestamp. Full refunds within this window will be processed within 5-10 business days via the original payment method.

3. After 72 Hours

All consulting engagement fees are non-refundable after 72 hours of initial payment. Once the 72-hour window has passed, no refunds will be issued regardless of the reason, including but not limited to: change of business direction, inability to execute on strategic recommendations, dissatisfaction with the direction of advice, or any other circumstance within the client's control.

4. No Partial Refunds

Protike does not offer partial refunds for unused consulting hours, unused portions of an engagement period, or any other partial use of services. The consulting fee covers access to Protike's strategic expertise and time allocation, which cannot be partially returned.

5. Protike-Initiated Termination

In the rare event that Protike terminates a consulting engagement due to circumstances entirely outside the client's control (such as a force majeure event affecting Protike's ability to deliver services), a pro-rated refund of the unused portion of the current billing period may be issued at Protike's sole discretion. This provision does not apply to terminations resulting from client breach of contract or non-payment.

6. Cryptocurrency Payments

Refunds for payments made in cryptocurrency will be processed in the same cryptocurrency at the exchange rate prevailing at the time of the refund, not the time of original payment. Protike is not responsible for any gains or losses resulting from cryptocurrency price fluctuations between payment and refund dates.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund within the eligible 72-hour window, submit a written request through the secure application process on this website, referencing your submission ID and payment reference number. Requests submitted after the 72-hour window will not be considered.
